LANGDON – The Grand Opening of the Mountain View Credit Union is the first bank in Langdon. It opened its doors on Saturday October 20th with a celebration of fiddlers, smokies and refreshments. The weather could have been better however as there was a mild blizzard occurring outside but it didn’t seem to deter a number of people from attending the opening. The warmth and friendliness of the branch employees made everyone who came in forget what was on the outside. Every age of customer was entertained; the Keister Family Fiddlers played some songs for the crowd and for the kids, there was face painting in the kids play area and picture with the mascot named Mountain Max.
Steph Brundige, Branch Manager of the Mountain View Credit Union(MVCU), was busy greeting everyone who entered the bank and made sure they were taken care of and she and her staff will be pleased to look after all of your banking needs when you become a credit union member. Brundige has 31 years’ experience in the banking industry. The Langdon Mountain View Credit Union branch is the 13th branch to open in Alberta.
