Since 1964, Tim Horton’s has been brewing the coffee that has worked its way into being a National icon. Since then, they have truly grown into being a coffee giant with more than 4000 locations. The newest location to hit the map, is the much anticipated restaurant in Langdon.
At 6am on Friday November 21st, guests filled the shop and cars lined the double drive thru as Langdon residents welcomed the newest Timmies.
Kevin Korpi, restaurant manager, who also owns the Tim Hortons in Strathmore, says that they are excited to be open and serving the people of Langdon and area. “This new location has a few special features that we’re quite proud of. All the lighting is energy efficient, LED lighting. We have a theatre baking set up which allows the guests to watch the whole baking process as opposed to other locations where all the baking is done in the back. We can seat up to 40 guests and every booth is equipped with a power and USB outlet, so guests can charge their phones or work on their laptops while enjoying the restaurant”, explained Korpi. “We are very excited to be serving the residents of Langdon and area and we welcome the community”.
The Langdon locations drive thru will be open for service 24 hours, with the restaurant being closed from 10pm-6am.
