Kinniburgh welcomed its newest business on October 21, 2015. Confidental, Chestermere’s newest dental clinic, held their grand opening where friends, family and neighbours came to welcome them to the city.
Dr. Levi Lowry, the sole dentist at the new clinic for the moment, grew up in Lacombe, Alberta. His decision to pursue a career in dentistry was due in large part to the positive influence his father had on him. One of only a few dentists in the small community, Dr. Lowry saw the difference his father made with respect to both his role as a dentist and health care provider, and his support of the community. “My father was definitely an example to me in terms of how to be a team player to impact the community for good” says Dr. Lowry.
Dr. Lowry received his bachelor degree in biochemistry from Brigham Young University in Provo Utah, and then went on to study Dentistry at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco California. Immediately after graduating, he returned to Alberta and has been practicing dentistry in Calgary and Lacombe ever since. Dr. Lowry is a general dentist with a special interest in surgeries and orthodontics.
As a lover of the outdoors, Dr. Lowry chose to open his dental practice in Chestermere because it is a great city with a small town community feel. The lake was another draw as he and his family love watersports. He, his wife and three children have called Chestermere home since August 2015.
