Since they opened their doors in October 2014 and the Grand Opening in November 2014, the Medspa at Lifepath has been very welcomed by the community. So much so that they have recently added three new members.
The Medspa at Lifepath offers a wide variety in professional services that are nothing short of first class. They provide laser skin aesthetics, laser hair removal, facials and peels. Alongside the Medspa treatments, they offer the complete pampering experience with Massage Therapies encompassing therapeutic, hot stone, jade stone, couples massage and maternity. They also have amazing skin care lines that are the latest, from ZO Obagi and Alyria. From the moment you walk into the Medspa, you know you’re somewhere special. The friendly professional staff are very knowledgeable and that combined with the first class equipment and services, it’s no wonder that additional staff members were needed.

Jason Olandesca, B.N., R.N.
Jason has over 15 years of experience working in the health care field. Beginning his career working in a clinical capacity helped define Jason’s passion for people and health. Gaining additional experience working with centers of excellence for innovative health solutions including Medic is and Sanofi-Aventis, he has received numerous accolades and awards for his ability to foster solid business relationships amongst diverse groups of stakeholders involved in the front line delivery and advancement of healthcare. As a member of Morneau Shepell’s Organizational Health Solutions Team, Jason brings with him a strong client focus and a commitment to health and wellness.
Jason complements his diverse background with a contagious sense of community and philanthropy. He currently sits on the Board of the Calgary Marathon Society, bringing the “Every Day Non-Competitive Runner’s Perspective” to the 50th Annual 2014 Scotiabank Calgary Marathon. Additionally, he has chaired and participated in other charitable committees and community initiatives such as The Calgary Health Trust, Calgary Urban Project Society, Calgary Food Bank and The Ride to Conquer Cancer.
Jason’s areas of focus are, advanced facial rejuvenation with cosmetic injectables such as Botox and Dermal Fillers. Jason says, “My love of the art and science behind the aesthetic procedures and I look forward to contributing to the great work in health and wellness that LifePath. I know that there is a strong sense of community in Chestermere that is unmatched anywhere else in Alberta and I am looking forward to working in the community”.
Jason also commented that the favorite part of what he does is, “Helping people understand their options when it comes to these types of procedures that at most times can seem overwhelming and hearing one “word” that everyone says when I have delivered them the results that they want. I never share with clients what that word is beforehand – but they always end up saying it after I hand them the mirror at the end the procedure”.
He holds a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Calgary and is based in Calgary, Alberta. His specialties include Business Development and Sales, Branding and Marketing, Technical Training, Healthcare and Specialized Markets, Sponsorship and Donation Acquisitions.
Johanne Hachez, SMT(cc), RMT, Infant Massage Instructor
Johanne graduated from the 2200 hour program from Foothills College of massage therapy and has been massaging since 2005. Two years of training consisted of intense study in anatomy, physiology, ergonomics, bio-mechanics, orthopaedic assessment, clinical studies, therapeutic exercises and hydrotherapy. She offers a variety of massage therapy techniques such as Swedish massage, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, visceral massage, manual lymph drainage, advanced sports massage, advanced deep tissue hot/cold stone therapy, reiki, teaches infant massage and has a history of Active Release Technique®
Jennifer Bilodeau, CLT (Certified Laser Technician)
Although not new to the Lifepath organization, Jennifer Bilodeau has been the Accounts Receivable Coordinator for the past nine years. In 2014 she took her Laser Technician training in Boston at the National Laser Institute. With this new training, Jennifer is now stretching into the Medspa world but will remain involved with the administration side of the dental clinic. Jennifer’s focus includes laser hair removal, micro laser peels, BBL therapy and many other Sciton laser treatments. Jennifer explains that her move from the administration and accounting side came from wanting to expand into patient care and being involved with clients first hand. “I appreciate that we all have an individual uniqueness and enjoy sharing my knowledge of treatments available. I look forward to the interaction with patients and building trusting relationships with them.”
