Waiting Room Cafe is the newest addition to Chestermere’s coffee scene and more specifically, the community of Kinniburgh in SE Chestermere. It is actually the first business to see an open sign in the Kinniburgh Healthcare Centre located on Kinniburgh Blvd.
Family owned and operated, Waiting Room Cafe is a large and cozy atmosphere, perfect for everyone looking for a place to sit and enjoy a cup of java. The owners, Al & Parvin Rasul along with their son, Zohaib, are looking forward to inviting the community of Chestermere into their shop not only to serve them, but also to become their friends. The family is incredibly friendly, and love meeting people. They are also very community orientated, and are excited to get to know ‘Chestermereians’ better.
It will be hard to choose a favorite item on the menu. Between the delicious organic gourmet coffee that is grown in Thailand and roasted in the Rocky Mountains, and only high end teas like Mighty Leaf, Smith and Revolution – your favorite will likely change each time you try a new drink.
And of course with summer coming, you may be looking to cool down after a hot day in the sun. Waiting Room Cafe can do that too as every hot drink can be turned into a cold variety of iced coffee, cappuccino or latte. We all know that Chestermere residents live an active lifestyle, so a why not take a bike ride to discover Kinniburgh with the kids, and stop in to enjoy some ice cream, slurpee, or cool lemonade at the new cafe.

If so, you will definitely want to stop in the Waiting Room Cafe because whether its pizza, hot dogs, fresh sandwiches, soups, salads or just a snack like a muffin, scone or other tasty treat, they have what you are looking for to satisfy that hunger. This makes it the perfect place to hold your next business meeting, or to have lunch with that friend you have been meaning to get together with for ages now.
With free high speed Wi-Fi on site, you can situate yourself near the 2-way fire place and I bet you won’t want to leave. There’s plenty of room for everyone with seating for up to 70 people. The warm coffee colors within the space combined with the earthy aroma of fresh ground coffee beans, it’s easy to just close your eyes and feel like you’re in paradise.
But just in case you can’t bring the meeting to the Waiting Room Cafe, they are happy to bring it to you through their catering service. They are able to provide the coffee, tea, sandwiches, bagels desserts or any other food and drink items you require.
For School Councils, Waiting Room Cafe is eager to hear from you regarding your hot lunch programs for students. Al & Parvin are anxious to get involved in the community in every way, and they are happy to help the local schools and other organizations to make Chestermere an even better place to live.

Waiting Room Cafe’s first day and Grand Opening is on Friday, May 30 from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Come down to meet the owners and enjoy a free coffee during the grand opening as well as the chance to win one of three door prizes.
